PCC’s second 5-week summer session starts July 9

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s second five-week summer session begins Monday, July 9, 2012.

To register for these Summer Session B classes, which run through Aug. 12, complete the online application. The first five-week session, Summer Session A, concludes tomorrow, July 2. The College’s 10-week and 8-week Summer Session C classes, which both began May 29, end July 25 and Aug. 8, respectively.

In Summer 2011, 12,256 students were enrolled in PCC, compared to 12,319 in summer 2010.

According to Summer 2011 data, of enrolled students, 57 percent were female, 21.1 percent were ages 20 or 21, 97.1 percent were enrolled part-time, and 58.4 percent indicated high school graduate as their highest education level. Summer Session B classes are offered in many of PCC’s subject areas, including Accounting, Early Childhood Education, Food Science and Nutrition, Machine Tool Technology and Writing.
