PCC Foundation Elects Chair of Board of Directors

Tucson, AZ – Norman E. Rebenstorf Jr., a member of the Pima Community College Foundation Board of Directors since 2004, has been elected Chair of the Board for 2011-12.
Rebenstorf, a native of Illinois, has been in Tucson for more than 20 years. He is the Senior Vice President and Credit Administrator for National Bank of Arizona, a veteran of the Army as well as a Rotarian and member of United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona’s Board of Directors.
As the Chair of PCC Foundation’s Board of Directors, Rebenstorf, plans to work closely with the Chancellor and other board members to inform business leaders, legislators and the public on PCC’s and the Foundation’s mission to ensure that education continues to be accessible and affordable at Pima Community College.
Other officers include, Dennis Holden, Southwest Gas as Chair-Elect; Greg Good, Good Law Firm PC, Vice Chair; Deborah Hutchinson, Clifton Gunderson, LLP, Secretary; Raymond Baer, Wells Fargo Bank, Treasurer; and Robert Ramirez, Vantage West Credit Union, Immediate Past Chair. Cheryl House, CFRE, is Executive Director.
Established in 1977, the Pima Community College Foundation secures and manages private philanthropic support for Pima Community College. Last year, the Foundation awarded nearly $1 million in scholarships to over 1,600 PCC students.
