GED Graduation is June 3

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College Adult Education (PCCAE) will hold a Celebration of Achievement for students who have earned their General Education Development (GED) Diploma, on Thursday, June 3 at the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall, 260 S. Church Ave.
PCCAE has provided GED instruction and testing to the local community for over 40 years. The Adult Education program was twice named one of the country’s top 10 Outstanding Adult Education and Literacy Programs by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
Over 225 PCCAE graduates are expected to attend the celebration, supported by more than 1,500 family and friends who will be there to congratulate and cheer them on. GED graduates will also be recognized for their academic accomplishments by members of the Pima Community College Board of Governors, the Governor’s office, and local community leaders.
The ceremony begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
