Major computer system downtime scheduled overnight Nov. 1-2

Due to required upgrades to network and storage systems, all College computer systems will be unavailable for a period of time beginning:


  Friday, November 1 at 10 p.m.


  Saturday, November 2 at 6 a.m.

College computer systems that will be unavailable include, but are not limited to:

  • The College website
  • MyPima (including all online services and MyPima course homepages)
  • D2L
  • Student and employee email
  • College phone system including voicemail
  • All online student and employee services
  • All Banner-related services
  • All fileshares and databases

College systems will go down for several hours at the beginning of the outage and staff will begin applying the upgrades.  Individual systems will be restored to service as soon as possible after the upgrades have been completed.  It will take the entire outage window for all systems to be restored to service.

College staff will be working as quickly as possible to perform the needed upgrades.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
