Pima Community College has instituted a variety of programs for assessment and quality improvement to ensure institutional effectiveness and the fulfillment of the College mission. The responsibility for monitoring and coordinating the Institutional Effectiveness is assigned to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Educational Services. The Institutional Effectiveness components and responsible College offices are noted below: - Mission success evaluation (Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research and Planning)
- Program and service review (Chancellor's Cabinet; Assistant Vice Chancellor for Educational Services)
- Board of Governors retreats, orientations, study sessions (Chancellor)
- Employee performance evaluation (Chancellor [for Board of Governors]; Human Resources [for employee groups])
- Student outcomes assessment (Assistant Vice Chancellor for Educational Services)
- Planning and planning evaluation (Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research and Planning)
