This system contains confidential information that is the property of Pima Community College. Employees may use this information only as directed in the legitimate business of the College and only as prescribed by Board Policy, administrative rules and applicable law, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1974. Examples of appropriate uses of information include: - Use of summary student information to improve courses or programs.
- Use of summary student information to improve testing.
- Use of individual student information to counsel or advise an individual student.
Examples of inappropriate uses of information include: - Use of individual student information to support commercial interests.
- Personal use of individual student information.
- Disclosure of individual student information to persons outside the College without due process.
Inappropriate uses may be considered employee misconduct and may be subject to disciplinary action. Except as authorized by State and or federal law, no personal record, file, document, or personally identifiable information contained herein shall be released to any individual or agency without the person''s written consent.
