The annual statements are also available to be viewed on line. Members can visit the ASRS Web site  and access their latest statement through their personal account by using the “My ASRS Login” button on the bottom of the home page. If you have not created your individual login, click on the “My ASRS Login” button and follow the directions to register as a new user.

Reminder: Seasonal Flu Shot Clinics
Flu shot clinics are coming to your campus in October. CIGNA representatives will be visiting each campus between Oct. 15 and 22 to give vaccinations for seasonal flu, but NOT the H1N1 strain. Details for each clinic will be announced in @PimaNews.

If you would like a flu shot earlier, call your primary care physician or visit one of the convenience care clinics:

For more information, call the Employee Service Center, 206-4945.

College Plan: Student Services Redesign

The redesign of the Student Services model called for improved staff training and a staffing review. As part of that effort, PCC has created online training modules and tutorials for employees and placed them on the new PCC Intranet.  Each section includes an Assessment for Learning for all training, which is competency based. As part of the staffing review, meetings were held at all six campuses to review how work is distributed as part of the development of a reorganization plan to best utilize Student Services staff.

Inside Story: Cyber Security Workshop

In cooperation with PCC, Texas A&M University is offering a two-day Cyber Security workshop, Oct.20-21, at the Downtown Campus. Learn about the threats facing all individuals, businesses and institutions with Web-facing networks, and the vulnerabilities that can be mitigated with proper configuration of network firewall devices, particularly in the business environment.

Workshop participants will face scenarios and complete exercises based on typical business information security requirements. Educators will gain information that they can incorporate into their network engineering programs.

The workshop is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 21. It is free, but you must reserve your seat by Oct. 13. To register, please call 206-7088 or email jcarroll@pima.edu.
