College Updates

Women’s Basketball Places Third in National Tournament

Congratulations to the PCC Women’s Basketball team! They placed third in the NJCAA National Tournament.  The team finished the 2008-09 season with a 28-6 overall record.

Draft Board Regulations and Standard Practice Guide for Review

Drafts of Board Regulation, RG-2702/A: Copyright Ownership and RG-3001/AA: Faculty Standards Qualifications and Standard Practice Guide, SPG-3001/AA: Faculty Standards and Qualifications, have been posted to the College policies website for review and public comment.  They will remain on the web for comment until April 15, 2009.

Reminder: Volunteer to Serve on a Standing Committee

PCC employees interested in serving on a Standing Committee for the 2009-2010 academic year must complete the Standing Committee Interest Form online to be considered.  Individuals currently serving on a Standing Committee whose terms have not expired do not need to reapply.

Please note that this process is the only way that employees can indicate their interest and willingness to serve on a Standing Committee next year.

The deadline for submitting the Standing Committee Interest Form is Tuesday, March 31, 2009.  Volunteers will be notified via email by May 15, 2009 regarding new committee assignments.
