PCC Alumni at Zoo Lights
Join alumni and PCC staff for a private preview of Zoo Lights on December 9, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  The event will be held at Reid Park Zoo, 100 South Randolph Way.  Listen to holiday entertainment by PCC music students and participate in the Alumni Holiday Bazaar.

The entry fee is $5.  Children under age five are free.  A “Behind-the-Scenes” tour for $25 is available.  Proceeds benefit the PCC Alumni Association.  The tour is limited, so reserve a spot early.

PCC Department of Public Safety Sponsors 7th Annual Toy Drive
The PCC Department of Public Safety is sponsoring the 7th Annual Holiday Wish List and Toy Drive to support Aviva Children’s Services.  Contributions will be accepted through December 15, 2008. 

New unwrapped toys for children eight months to eight years of age and clothing from newborn to size 12 are needed.  Contribution boxes will be available at the District Office (D-204 and C-117), at the Follett Bookstores at the Desert Vista, Downtown, East, Northwest and West Campuses, the M&S Police Station, the El Rio Learning Center and the Northeast Education Center.

Donations (personal checks), payable to Aviva Children’s Services, may be sent to Officer Rosalind Williams at the PCC Police Department, Mail Code 1740.  For more information contact Rosalind Williams at 206-2670.

Reminder—Computer Systems Unavailable November 28
The District Office Data Center will be shutdown from 3:00 am until 7:00 pm on Friday, November 28 to conduct required electrical maintenance.  All online services will be unavailable.

Did You Know?
Deer Oaks, PCC’s Employee Assistance Program provider, will reimburse participants for cab fare in the event that they are unable to drive due to impairment by alcohol or another substance.  The process is simple and confidential.  For more information, call 1-866-EAP-2400 or email eap@deeroaks.com.
