NOTICE:  A valid Arizona Sign Language Interpreter License (General, Legal, or Provisional) is required to apply for this position.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides simultaneous interpretation and translation between spoken and manual (sign language) communication for the hearing impaired and deaf students or employees in an academic and/or office environment.

OTHER INFORMATION: Hourly rate is based on experience, certification level and/or college assignment needs. Dependable transportation required.

BENEFITS: Benefits required by law will be provided. No other College-provided benefits, such as holiday pay, sick leave, annual leave, educational benefits, etc., will be offered. Employees who work twenty (20) or more hours per week for more than nineteen (19) weeks in a fiscal year are required to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System.
