Adjunct Faculty Employment

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: This position involves teaching massage therapy and related courses; conferencing with students regarding academic success; providing academic advising; evaluating student performance; evaluating and revising course syllabi, outlines materials and instructional methods; participating in curriculum design and development; maintaining competency in teaching strategies and assessment methods.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of: Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic massage.

Ability to: Teach a diverse group of students of varying competency levels and aptitudes; ability to maintain records and inventory; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Experience, Education and Licensing: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a teaching field and 3 years directly related work experience in the teaching field.
