Opportunity for Part-Time Teaching

Pima Community College is seeking a qualified applicant to teach in the following discipline(s):

Radiologic Technology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)    Instructional Faculty to teach in the classroom

Minimum Requirements:  The successful applicant must have an educational and/or work background in Sectional Anatomy, which may be fulfilled through appropriate educational and work experience in such areas as Radiologic Technology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computerized Tomography (CT), Biology, or Anatomy & Physiology, Prior teaching experience or preceptor experience is preferred.

The successful candidate must possess one of the following sets of minimum education and experience:

  • An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent field; OR 64 semester credit hours in the field; OR recognized certification in the field (for example, ARRT or ARDMS); AND 5 years of work experience in the field.
  • OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent field AND 3 years of work experience in the field.
  • OR
  • A Master’s degree in any field AND 18 graduate semester credits in the field.
  • OR
  • A Master’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Biology, Anatomy & Physiology or equivalent field.
