Study Tours
Want to meet new people and explore new places? Try a Pima Study Tour. Our knowledgeable, skilled guides lead tours in small groups, allowing for maximum interaction and a meaningful travel experience. We offer one day tours, overnight tours and week-or-longer tours in Arizona, the Southwestern United States, Mexico and occasionally other countries. Transportation is provided via 12-passenger vans for most tours. Unless otherwise indicated, tours leave from the Community Campus (401 North Bonita Ave.) and the Community Performing Arts and Learning Center in Green Valley (1250 West Continental Rd.). United States Citizens/Residents - One of the following proofs of U.S. citizenship/residency:
- Current U.S. passport
- Original birth certificate
- Naturalization certificate
- Plus picture identification, such as:
- Driver's license
- School identification card
- Or other government issued picture identification

Note: Per the U.S. State Department, effective December 31, 2007, passports will be required for all air, sea and land U.S. border crossings. Non-United States Citizens/Residents - Must show appropriate identification documentation; contact your consulate with any questions.
Travel Insurance For tours of more than a day you are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. Email studytours@pima.edu or call 206-3952 for more information. Medical Insurance Comprehensive medical insurance is included in the fees for all international tours. One-Day Tours Email studytours@pima.edu or call 206-6422 or 206-6466 to request a refund. Refund requests must be made at least seven calendar days before the tour. Multi-Day Tours - Entire fee will be refunded if your cancellation request is received at least 60 calendar days before the tour.
- 75 percent of the fee will be refunded if your request is received 46-59 days before the tour.
- 50 percent of the fee will be refunded if your request is received 31-45 days before the tour.
- No refunds will be issued if your request is received within 30 or fewer days of the tour.
Special Cancellation Policies If "special cancellation policy applies" appears in the tour description, cancellation requests will be assessed on an individual basis, and penalties may exceed those above. Email studytours@pima.edu or call 206-3952 for more information.
