Performing Groups
Pima College students audition for these performance groups to hone their skills and provide top-notch entertainment throughout metropolitan Tucson.
Wind Ensemble: features small wind and percussion ensembles, soloists, as well as classics for full band.
Chorale: a large mixed-voice choir.
College Singers: a more select mixed-voice a cappella choir.
Orchestra: features a chamber orchestra repertoire with high school/college students and community adults.
Jazz Ensemble: performs jazz standards from a variety of periods in big band style.
Jazz Improv Combos: perform their own set of repertoire featuring music from early swing numbers through bebop, modern fusion and funk styles.
Opera: presents fully staged and costumed scenes from operas and Broadway musicals.
