GED Testing
A general education development diploma (GED), known as the Arizona High School Equivalency Diploma, shows that you've completed studies through the high school level. It's available if you - have not received a high school diploma or a high school equivalency diploma and
- are not currently attending high school and
- are at least 16 years old.
Diploma Requirements You must pass these tests in order to earn a GED: | Subject Area | Format | Time Limit | | Writing | 50 questions + essay | 2 hours | | Reading | 40 questions | 1 hour 5 minutes | | Social Studies | 50 questions | 1 hour 10 minutes | | Science | 50 questions | 1 hour 20 minutes | | Mathematics | 50 questions | 1 hour 30 minutes | To pass you need to score at least 410 (out of 800) on every test and 2,250 points in total, an average of 450 on each test. The tests - may be taken in any order.

Preparing for the TestPima offers classes to prepare and free practice testing at convenient locations. You can also study for the GED online and attend class once a week.
