Entrance and Exit Counseling

When you borrow a Federal Stafford loan or Federal Perkins loan, you are required to complete counseling activities.

Entrance Counseling

You must complete online Loan Entrance Counseling if you received a federal Stafford or Perkins loan for the first time at Pima Community College. 

Loan Entrance Counseling gives you important information about borrowing and repaying your student loans. Failure to complete Loan Entrance Counseling will result in the cancellation of your federal loan.

Exit Counseling

If you have received federal loans and stopped attending Pima Community College at least half-time (six or more credit hours), you must complete Exit Counseling.
