Campus Leadership
On behalf of the faculty and staff, I welcome you to the Northwest Campus of Pima Community College, the newest of the District's six campuses.
In 1995, the citizens of Pima County recognized the importance of establishing a higher-education presence in the northwest section of the metropolitan area and generously authorized construction of this beautiful campus. Since opening in August 2003, we have served over 10,000 students in our day, evening, weekend and summer courses.
As a new campus, we were able to design with students in mind. You'll find that all your admission, registration, financial aid and advising needs can be met at our One-Stop Student Services Center. We've integrated our library resources with our general-use computer workstations in our Library/Computer Commons. All our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology tools to enhance teaching. Our science laboratories are state-of-the-art.
Students come here to prepare for university transfer, to train for employment and to take classes that meet their individual needs. We offer concurrent enrollment courses for eligible high school students and work with the neighboring YMCA and Pima County Parks and Recreation Department to serve our citizens. In addition, Northern Arizona University offers its bachelor's degree in Hotel Restaurant Management on our campus.
As your community college, we are here to serve you. Please take advantage of all we have to offer and let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you in fulfilling your educational dreams.
