Family Literacy Event, May 5

Tucson – Pima Community College’s Adult Education (PCCAE) Family Literacy Leadership Council is hosting an end of the year celebration, “Parent Power.” The event will be held on Thursday, May 5 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Downtown Campus Amethyst Room, 1255 North Stone Avenue.

The event will feature guest speakers, Family Literacy student presentations and special guests.

The PCCAE Family Literacy program encourages families to work together toward educational goals.  The program engages parents in developing literacy skills, earning a GED and improving parenting skills while participating in educational activities with their children.
