Women’s History through Fashion: Power, Pants and Petticoats
Tuesday, March 10, 2009 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community College’s Fashion and Apparel Merchandising Program is hosting an event entitled “Women’s History through Fashion: Power, Pants and Petticoats.”

Audience members will learn about the history of fashion and powerful women through multimedia presentations and a runway show using college faculty, students and administrators as models. The show will feature present day fashion and fashion history through the early 1900s.

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. It will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the PCC Downtown Campus, Amethyst Room, 1255 North Stone Ave.

Local schools are welcome and students grades 4th and up are encouraged to join us at this event.
