Discovering Southern Arizona Lecture: Fresh Ink: Stories from Sunnyside and Desert View High Schools Wednesday, March 25, 2009 – 6:30 p.m.
Tucson, AZ - Pima Community College will host “Fresh Ink: Student Stories from Sunnyside and Desert View High Schools,” part of the Discovering Southern Arizona lecture series.
Fresh Ink is an after-school project dedicated to developing the newest and freshest voices of Sunnyside and Desert View High Schools. The event will feature the stories of the high schools’ ninth-grade students.
The lecture will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at Sunnyside High School, 1725 East Bilby Road. The lecture is free and open to the public.
“Discovering Southern Arizona” is a series of presentations, lectures, classes and study tours that focuses on the history and unique cultures of the Southern Arizona community. We invite you to learn about the peoples, history, cultures and places of southern Arizona through our Community Education programs.
