PCC Celebrates Earth Day on April 23

Pima Community College will hold an Earth Day celebration on Wednesday, April 23.  The Earth Day festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue to 1:00 p.m. on the Promenade Level at the College's Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road.

This free event will include demonstrations of conservation techniques, and displays by governmental agencies and non-profit organizations.

Participants will learn about the environment's interactions with plants and animals.  Festival participants will also explore climate, astronomy, recycling, and even sample food cooked in a solar oven.
