Three PCC Students Named to All USA Academic Teams
April 8, 2008Three Pima Community College students have been named to the All USA Academic Teams. Students Alison Lamm-Chapman and Karla Bustamante Scott were named to the All USA Second Team. Aindrea McCammon was named to the All USA Third Team. Alison Lamm-Chapman, a student at the Downtown Campus and a math tutor, plans to transfer to the University of Arizona after Pima Community College. She is taking classes in math education and biology. Karla Bustamante Scott, a student at the Desert Vista Campus, is planning on a major in elementary education. Last year, Scott also received a $1,000 national Community College Coca Cola Scholarship for academic achievement and community service. Aindrea McCammon, also a student at the Downtown Campus, plans to attend Arizona State University in the School of Social Work. All three students are members of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honorary society for two-year colleges.
