Supervisor's Academy Starts January 8
December 24, 2007Classes begin at the new Tucson Supervisor’s Academy on Tuesday, January 8. The program, created by Pima Community College, is designed for companies interested in training staff for promotion to management, as well as individuals seeking professional growth. The Tucson Supervisor’s Academy workshops meet Tuesday mornings at the College’s Community Campus, 401 N. Bonita, between Congress and St. Mary’s Road west of I-10. The Academy is offered through the College’s Workforce and Business Development program, which also provides training and consulting to area businesses. The Tucson Supervisor’s Academy is designed to provide convenient and concise training in 12 subject areas critical for managerial success. The program meets one half-day a week and takes only 22 weeks to complete. Cost for the 12 module, 22 week program is $849.
