Gillis Appointed to West Campus Position

John Gillis has been appointed acting division dean of instruction for Health Related Professions at Pima Community College’s West Campus.

Gillis has been at PCC as a program manager for the Public Safety and Emergency Services Institute since 2005.  The Institute provides professional training for area police, fire and emergency response agencies.

Gillis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies and a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations, both from Minnesota State University.  He has also served as Associate Dean and Assistant Professor at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee.

Gillis is one of four recent appointments of faculty and staff within Pima Community College to acting division dean positions.
