College Presents Education for Economic Empowerment Awards

Pima Community College will host the Education for Economic Empowerment (EEE) Partnership and Awards Ceremony at 5 p.m., Thursday, May 31.  The ceremonies will be held at El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington Road.

The EEE program is funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The EEE program offers learning opportunities for individuals to improve their earnings, upgrade their living conditions and better their community. Topics include life skills, housing repairs, financial literacy, career exploration and leadership.

The event will begin with the regular partnership council meeting.  Then, at 5:30 p.m., graduates from the programs fifth successful cohort of students will be recognized, along with their families.
