PCC Offers Free Business Success Workshop
May 2, 2007 Pima Community College’s Small Business Development Center will offer a free one-day workshop for small business owners who want to jump start their businesses. The Westside Coalition Weed & Seed and Microbusiness Advancement Center are co-sponsoring the workshop. The workshop, Seeds for Business Success, will be held from 8:15 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at the College’s Community Campus, 401 N. Bonita Ave., room A109/112. Registration and a complimentary continental breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. Workshop topics include business opportunities with the Mercado District project, crafting and delivering an “Elevator Speech” that get a business noted, finding money to grow a business, Internet marketing and Ecommerce and more.
