PCC Multicultural Convocation Friday, April 27, 2007
April 9, 2007Pima Community College’s Multicultural Convocation will be held from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., Friday, April 27 at the College’s West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road. The ceremony will recognize the diversity of the College’s graduating students, their family and friends. Participating graduates will receive a multicultural sash that may be worn with their academic robes at the College’s formal graduation ceremonies. Graduation will be held Thursday, May 17 at the Tucson Convention Center. PCC Chancellor Roy Flores will speak at the Multicultural Convocation, along with a student speaker. Sign interpretation for the deaf will be provided. A local reggae band will provide entertainment during the reception, which begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Santa Rita building breeze way.
