Writers Workshop on Editing March 30 - April 1

Pima Community College will host a creative writing weekend workshop on revising and editing, March 30 – April 1.

Steve Cox will lead the workshop. Cox is director emeritus of the University of Arizona Press and co-author, with former United States Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry Ted Kooser, of Writing Brave and Free: Encouraging Words for People Who Want to Begin Writing.

The workshop will focus on self-editing and deep revision, as well as learning how to shape writing projects.

The workshop will be held at PCC’s West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road, in Sentinel Peak room J 101.

The schedule is from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Friday, March 30 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 31-April 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participants can earn two credits for the class or take it as a non-credit workshop.  Cost is $107 for Arizona residents and includes processing and service fees.
