Culinary Arts Expands to Summer Classes

Pima Community College will offer summer courses in Culinary Arts beginning May 29.  Culinary Arts classes have previously been offered during the spring and fall semesters only.   The program prepares professional chefs for restaurants and resorts, as well as other career options in food preparation.

Ths summer, students can take classes in Principal Restaurant Operations, Food Service Nutrition, Cake Decorating and Candy Making, Catering Operations and others.

By taking summer culinary arts classes, students can move faster toward an Associate of Applied Science degree in Culinary Arts.  The College also offers a certificate for direct employment in Culinary Arts.

Summer classes will be held at the College’s Desert Vista and East campuses beginning May 29.  Online registration for summer classes began March 12.
