Rundraiser Dinner and Entertainment for PROGRESS! Program
March 20, 2007 Pima Community College presents a night of music, dancing and dinner to benefit the College’s PROGRESS! Program. The event will be held from 5 p.m.-10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 23 at the College’s West Campus, 2202 W. Anklam Road, in the Santa Catalina Building. Tickets are $12 for adults and $4 for children ages 10 and under and include a western style BBQ dinner. Old-time western music and a special cowboy poetry reading will be provided. All proceeds benefit PROGRESS! Program scholarship fund. PROGRESS! is a 20-year-old program that assists single parent, homemakers and other adult students returning to college with academic and financial support. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter in a silent auction for a chance to win a rod, real and tackle combination, passes for four people to Heritage Highlands at Dove Mountain golf resort, jewelry and other items.
