I-10 Construction Project
I-10 freeway in Tucson will be under construction for several years to widen the roadway. Demolition of I-10 bridges will also require temporary closure of some local roads. Between Prince Road and 29th Street: - I-10 is opened for through traffic but all on- and off-ramps are closed
- Local traffic and freeway access traffic will use the frontage road
Bridge demolition (I-10 underpasses): Roads beneath I-10 will be closed while portions of the bridges are removed. The schedule for this work is given below. Each I-10 underpass will be closed until Monday at 6 a.m. - Sat., July 14 at 12:01 a.m. - Grant Road underpass
- Fri., July 20 at 10 p.m. - Speedway underpass
- Fri., July 27 at 10 p.m. - St. Mary's Road underpass
- Fri., Aug. 3 at 10 p.m. - 22nd Street underpass
- Fri., Aug. 10 at 10 p.m. - Granada/Clark Street underpass
- Fri., Aug. 17 at 10 p.m. - Congress Street underpass
