Learning Style Resources
The following resources are for those who wish to explore student learning styles. - Learning Styles: A site developed by Richard Felder, professor of chemical engineering at North Carolina State University; includes a link to Felder's Index of Learning Styles, with web and paper versions of an instrument for assessing learning preferences.
- Learning to Learn: A free self-guided 10 week course designed to raise learners' awareness of the cognitive and metacognitive aspects of thinking and learning. Registration is free.
- GSU Master Teacher Program. A Georgia State University site with an overview of their master teacher program; includes links on learning styles and teaching styles.
- Learning Styles: A chart from Chaminade College Preparatory that helps students determine their own learning styles.
