Notice of Award

Notice of Award is the legally binding document that serves as a notification to the recipient and others that a grant or cooperative agreement has been made; contains or references all terms of the award; and documents the obligation of funds.

The GOSC is the official college address to receive the notice.  Once GOSC receives the Notice of Award from the granting agency, this information is distributed to the following:

  • the PI so the program can prepare to begin implementation,
  • Human Resources to set-up personnel needed to be hired in the program,
  • Finance to assign grant account number,
  • CDAS to work with PI and Program Staff, Finance and GOSC to set-up grant account, budgets and banner crosswalk, and
  • Community Relations to announce the good news!
