Jim Click Automotive Team Scholarships

Tucson business leader and philanthropist Jim Click is partnering with Pima Community College in a new program that fills a growing workforce need and gives students the tools to succeed in automotive technology careers.

The Jim Click Automotive Team has given $100,000 gift to the Pima Community College Foundation to fund scholarships, fees, textbooks and related equipment for students pursuing automotive technology education at Pima Community College.

Students selected for the program will receive a full scholarship and a $4,000 set of tools.  In addition, while going to school, the students work at one of the Jim Click Automotive Team dealerships during the day and attend classes at night.

With the scholarship—and scholastic and workplace performance success— students will earn a Pima Community College Automotive Certificate within the first two years, and will complete the requirements for an Associate’s degree within the next three years.
