Highlighted by the lighting of four 1950s-era restored neon signs along Drachman Street

The Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation has donated to the College four beautifully restored historic neon signs for placement on the south side of Drachman Street, along the north border of the Downtown Campus. These signs are large advertising signs from former Tucson area businesses, dating from 1956-1971.  To celebrate the turning on of the signs, we will be having a Sock Hop!

There will be a short dedication ceremony with remarks by Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation Board President Demion Clinco, Tucson Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, PCC Interim Chancellor Dr. Suzanne Miles and Ward III City Councilwoman Karin Uhlich.

Sock Hop will be in the North parking lot at Downtown Campus
