More than 161,000 square feet of learning and support space at the East Campus cluster around several small patios and shaded courtyards to allow for outdoor relaxation or study.Students can use a state-of-the-art computer commons and find friendly counselors and advisors at the one-stop student services center. The campus boasts spacious reading, writing and math tutoring centers next to the library, modern classrooms and exceptional science labs. It also houses an observatory with a 14-inch computer-controlled telescope, a teaching planetarium and a multipurpose athletic practice field. Adjacent to the campus is Clements Recreation Center, where students can take yoga, weightlifting and aerobics classes through an arrangement with the City of Tucson.
