Requesting Services

The DSR Office on each campus can assist students in requesting services.  A DSR Specialist will interview each student, review the required documentation, and determine eligibility for services at Pima Community College. 

Once a student is determined eligible for services at Pima, the DSR Specialist will work with the student to identify appropriate accommodations.  Accommodations must be requested every semester.

To get started:

  • Contact a Disabled Student Resources (DSR) office to schedule an appointment
  • Provide Proof of Disability
  • Attend an intake interview with the DSR specialist
  • Work with the DSR specialist to develop a service plan
  • Review service policies
  • If needed, have an assistive technology evaluation

To Cancel Services

To cancel services, the student must contact the appropriate campus DSR office and give:

  • the name of the service provider,
  • the requested service,
  • the course, and
  • the time of the class or session that is being cancelled.

Interpreting services or real-time transcription services must be cancelled through the West Campus DSR Office.

If calling after business hours, leave a message on one of the DSR voice mail numbers listed on the Contact Us page.  The voice mail system will log the time and date of the call. 

Please provide notice of cancellation of services by 8:30 am on the day of the requested service.  If at all possible, provide 24 hour notice of cancellation.
