To report an Emergency, dial 911 If you need assistance or to report suspicious activities, call 206-2700.
The PCC Department of Public Safety (DPS) maintains a college-wide police and security service year-round, 24 hours a day. DPS Communications Center dispatchers answer calls at all times. 911 calls are answered by the City of Tucson Communications Center and transferred to PCC DPS as needed. Emergency TelephonesClearly marked emergency telephones in parking lots, campus elevators, and other key locations connect directly to the DPS Communications Center. For other phones, emergency telephone number decals are provided to all college telephones. Report emergencies by dialing 911. Report suspicious activities immediately to 206-2700. Medical EmergenciesIn case of medical emergencies dial 911. 911 operators are trained in providing pre-arrival instructions. 911 will contact PCC DPS. DPS will: - Dispatch personnel to the scene.
- Administer first aid, if required.
- Radio for medical and ambulance service, if needed.
- Contact relatives or friends, if requested.
In cases that do not require emergency room treatment or ambulance transportation, you should contact your personal physician.
