Campus Leadership
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Desert Vista Campus of Pima Community College, I welcome and invite you to explore the programs and services offered at this Southwest Tucson higher-education facility.
Desert Vista prides itself in meeting the needs of the local community. To this end, we offer numerous programs of instruction that assist students in developing basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics and English as a second language; occupational training programs that lead to employment; and transfer degrees that allow graduates to attend state universities to complete baccalaureate degrees.
We also offer a state-of-the-art fitness facility to develop the body for total health and wellness. Among Pima College's six campuses, Desert Vista uniquely provides programming in the rich cultural traditions of the Southwest, including classes on playing mariachi music or painting murals.
The mission of Pima Community College is to "develop our community through learning." We believe wholeheartedly in this mission and strive to provide the highest quality education experiences to our students.
