Computing

Pima Community College provides access to high-technology tools to help you reach your educational goals.  These tools give you convenient access to the information you need to keep up with course work, manage your course registrations, review your financial aid, and more.

Computer Commons

All campuses have computers that students can use for word processing, to check e-mail, log into MyPima and conduct research online.

Assistive Technology (AT)

Computers with assistive technology are available to students at each campus.  They provide screen reading software, scanning and electronic reading for the learning disabled, speech recognition for voice control of a computer and other services.  Contact a Disabled Students Resources coordinator at any campus for details.

MyPima

MyPima provides access to course registration, payments, financial aid, course homepages, student email and more.

Library Research Databases

Students can tap into databases that are maintained by Pima’s libraries for term paper research and other projects. Go to the Library tab in MyPima for access to these databases from on- or off-campus.

Copyright and Peer-to-Peer File Sharing

Pima respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects students, faculty and staff to do so as well.   Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including unauthorized peer-to-peer file sharing, may incur civil and criminal penalties as well as College disciplinary procedures.
