PCC Women’s Basketball Falls Against South Plains College

 Tucson, AZ – The women’s basketball team (1-1) fell behind early and couldn’t catch up as it lost to South Plains College (Texas) 76-57 on Friday at the Eastern Arizona Tournament in Thatcher.

A’jha Edwards (Tombstone HS) finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Desiree Phillips (Valley Vista HS) finished the game with 12 points and Felicia Foster (Peoria HS) contributed with 10.

The Aztecs finished the game on a 29-14 run.

 The Aztecs will play in the Salt Lake Community College Tournament in Salt Lake City, UT next week. They will begin the tournament against Snow College on Thursday.
