PCC Women’s Soccer Falls Against Chandler-Gilbert

 Tucson, AZ – The women’s soccer team (6-5) struck first but couldn’t hold on to the lead as it fell to Chandler-Gilbert 2-1 on Thursday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Field.

Miranda Smith (Sahuaro HS) scored on a penalty kick in the 60th minute to give the Aztecs a 1-0 lead. Chandler-Gilbert scored their goals in the 71st and 82nd minutes.

The Aztecs had their chances as they outshot Chandler-Gilbert 15-8. Erika Heredia finished with five saves.
