PCC Football Falls Short In Opener at Phoenix College

 Tucson, AZ – The Pima football team lost a heartbreaker at Phoenix College on Thursday as the Aztecs fell 17-14.

A game-winning field goal with 0.11 seconds left by Phoenix College’s kicker Michael Costello put them ahead for good. 

Pima quarterback Quinn Rollerson (Midwestern State H.S. in TX) got a couple of huge first downs as the Aztecs drove down the field with 1:35 to go. While under pressure, Rollerson threw an interception and Phoenix College was able to return it to the Pima 30-yard-line with 27 seconds to go.
