Who can enroll?

Express Degree courses are open to everyone!  Students who are not interested in completing a degree can still take Express Format courses that interest them.  These classes can also be combined with other course delivery options offered at Pima. For more information, call the East Campus Advising at 206-7662 or Northwest Campus Advising at 206-2200.

How much is tuition?   Is financial aid available?

The Express Degree tuition is the same as tuition for traditional classes.  Financial Aid is available to students who qualify.  Contact any Financial Aid Office to apply.

Will Express Degree courses transfer?

The Express Degree transfers to the University of Arizona, Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University as well as to many other universities. For more information call or visit any campus Advising and Counseling Center.

The Express Degree also meets the requirements for the Arizona General Educational Curriculum (AGEC) Certificate for Transfer. This certificate fulfills the lower-division general education requirements at the University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University.

What are the advantages of enrolling in Express Degree courses?

You can work full time and still complete classes or earn a degree by taking classes once a week. Because of the condensed class length, you can complete it in just 5-6 weeks.

What are the challenges of taking Express Degree courses?

Time management is the biggest challenge for students taking courses in the Express Degree. Homework is more intensive than in traditional courses, and because classes are short, you can't afford to miss classes or get behind in assigned work.
