1.   What is the cost per credit hour?
Refer to the current tuition and fees schedule online.

2.   Why is there a financial HOLD on my student account?
If you owe an outstanding debt to the college, you will not be allowed to register for any classes until your debt is paid in full. You can pay your debt at any campus Cashier’s Office. For more information about your debt, call Student Accounts at (520) 206-4574.

3.   When is payment for tuition due?
Tuition and fees must be paid in full by the published fee payment deadlines.

4.   What are the accepted forms of payment?
Cash, Personal Checks, Money Orders, Traveler’s Checks, Cashier Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and China UnionPay cards.

Please note: If you are paying by check, make your check or money order payable to Pima Community College. Include your student identification number and the College’s semester on the check or money order. This will ensure timely processing of your payment.

5.   What are my payment options?
There are three different ways to pay for classes:

  1. Pay Online – To pay online, log onto MyPima and use the My Accounts channel in the Academics tab to view and pay your account balance.
  2. Pay in Person – To pay in person, visit any campus Cashier’s Office. Please call (520) 206-4500 for hours of operation. A government issued photo ID is required for check payments.
  3. Pay by Mail:

Please note: If you are paying by check, make your check or money order payable to Pima Community College. Include your student identification number and the College’s semester on the check or money order. This will ensure timely processing of your payment.

6.   Is there a tuition payment plan available?
Yes, there is a payment plan that you can enroll in. No interest will be charged, and you don't have to be a financial aid recipient to qualify.

To enroll in a payment plan, visit My Account Manager in the My Account channel of My Pima.

7.   I am a resident of Arizona. Why am I being charged out of state tuition?
To verify in-state residency, you will need to complete a Tuition Assessment Form. This form is available at any campus Admission’s Office or online.

8.  If I drop a class, or the class was cancelled, will I get a refund?
To be eligible for a refund you must drop your class(es) by the posted refund deadlines. Refunds are generally processed via check. If you paid by credit card, your refund will be credited back to the same card. Any outstanding debts owed to the College may be deducted from your refund.

If the College cancels a class, you will be refunded all applicable tuition and fees.

9.  I am scheduled to receive financial aid funds. What is the disbursement process?
Review your Account Balance on the Academics tab of your MyPima page. If there is a credit balance (negative dollar amount) your funds have been released by the Financial Aid Office and are available to be disbursed by Student Accounts. If you are unsure of your financial aid status, contact Financial Aid.

10.  How will I get my financial aid check?
Financial aid checks are mailed to the current address listed in MyPima. To update your address, log onto MyPima and select Update Personal Information under Quick Links on the Home tab.

You may contact the Student Accounts Office at (520) 206-4574 after your funds have been released by Financial Aid to make arrangements to pick up your check. The check will be available at the District Office Student Accounts Office (D-204) two business days after the disbursement date.

11.  Where can I find my payment history?
A history of your payments can be accessed through the My Accounts link on the Quick Links channel of the Academics tab in MyPima. Note: Waivers and credits may also be included in the “Payment” column.
