Gauging Your Child's Development

Parents play a crucial role in getting young children off to a good start in life.  As parents, we often have questions about how our child is progressing in health and development.  Where do you go to get answers to those questions? 

The "Birth to Five Helpline" is a toll-free, question line for parents, caregivers and providers of young children.  The helpline has early childhood development specialists, registered nurses, disabilities specialists, early literacy specialists and mental health counselors who are available to answer your questions regarding children from birth through five years.  Take a look at some of the topics they address:
