If there are questions, talk to EVC Bea. 1. Implementation of 40-hour work week (R. Flores) The campuses reported that they have received positive feedback on their respective campuses regarding the 40-hour work week. There was preliminary discussion about implementation. Various questions were raised and follow-up will continue as answers are determined. 2. Vacancies (R. Flores) Dr. David Bea distributed copies of vacant administrator positions. Currently, there are 9 vacant administrator positions representing a 15% loss in administrators. Due to the loss in administrators, college-wide meetings will have to be reduced. Dr. Bea also distributed campus based positions and vacancies – corrections are needed quickly from the campuses to update the list. Further discussion will occur. 3. Board Packet and Grant Deadlines (R. Flores) Dr. Flores informed Cabinet that the deadlines set for Board Packets and Grants must be adhered to. Addenda are for emergencies – not last minute items. If the deadline is missed, the item will not be included in the board packet. Board reports will now require the initial of the executive officer certifying that the item is correct and ready for submission. Grants will not be signed until Dr. Flores or designee has read the grant.
