Fire Science

The institute and the Tucson Fire Department Public Safety Academy offer training for certification as Firefighter I and II.

The institute also works with the Arizona State Fire Marshal's Office to provide certification for these specialties and areas: 

• Firefighter I & II
• Wildland Firefighter
• Hazardous Materials First Responder
• Hazardous Materials Technician
• Fire Officer
• Leadership I, II, III
• Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I
