General Matters Call to Order Scott Stewart called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance Sherryn Marshall led the Pledge of Allegiance. Public Comment Justin Olson asked questions of the Board after his review of the proposed budget for 2008/2009 FY. Richard Basye, representing the Pima Association of Taxpayers, expressed concerns about vocational training. Information/Discussion Truth in Taxation (TNT) – Notice of Tax Decrease Executive Vice Chancellor Bea gave a brief overview of the Truth in Taxation requirements. Proposed 2008/09 Budget Executive Vice Chancellor Bea presented the proposed 2008/09 Budget. There will be a decrease in the primary tax with a similar decrease in secondary tax. Dr. Bea reviewed the Board’s directives regarding revenues and expenditures. Adjournment The meeting adjourned at 7.25 p.m.
