PIMA COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT

A Special Meeting/Retreat of the Pima County Community College District Board of Governors was held on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 4:00 p.m., in the Board Conference Room, District Office, 4905C East Broadway, Tucson, AZ 85709-1005.

Call to Order

Board Chair Sherryn Marshall called the meeting to order at 4:15 pm.

The purpose of the special meeting/retreat was for Dr. Flores to discuss with the Board the planning process and the general operations of the College. Chancellor Flores updated the Board on various issues including activities within individual departments of the College, several audit issues, a potential health care campus, the wellness clinic at the West Campus, and the organizational structure.

Executive Vice Chancellor Fugett and Provost Suzanne Miles also updated the Board on activities in their respective areas.

No action was taken at the meeting, which adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
